COPCID BARCELONA, MARCH 5 AND 6, 2027

Guidelines for submitting abstracts –  COPCID

 

Papers submitted to COPCID must be original, unpublished and related to the fields of visual health, optometry and the vision sciences, in line with the conference’s focus on cooperation and scientific progress.

Abstract Format

  • Maximum length: 300 words
  • Language: Spanish or English
  • Title: in capital letters, clear and concise
  • Authors: first name and surname(s), indicating affiliation (place of work)
  • Recommended structure:
    • Introduction / Objective
    • Materials and methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions

Content

  • The abstract must be clear, precise and based on scientific evidence
  • Originality, methodological rigour, clinical relevance and contribution to visual health will be assessed
  • No graphs, tables or images will be accepted in the abstract

Submission

  • Abstracts must be submitted via the official COPCID platform. Deadline: 31 December 2026.
  • The same author may contribute to several papers.

Assessment

  • All abstracts will be assessed anonymously by the Scientific Committee
  • Criteria: scientific quality, clarity, innovation, clinical applicability and contribution to cooperation in visual health

Acceptance and presentation

  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by email on 15 January 2027.
  • Accepted papers will be presented as an oral presentation or a poster, as decided by the committee
