La premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition a eu lieu en 2019.<br \/>Chaque cours universitaire implique le d\u00e9tachement sur place de sp\u00e9cialistes en optom\u00e9trie et en ophtalmologie p\u00e9diatrique de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe d&rsquo;OCULARIS pour assurer une formation pratique en salle de consultation et d&rsquo;op\u00e9ration. Un quart de cette formation est consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;optique et \u00e0 l&rsquo;optom\u00e9trie.<br \/>Ces sessions pratiques sont essentielles pour assurer, \u00e0 terme, l&rsquo;autonomie des \u00e9quipes locales. L\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Dakar \u00e9tant un centre de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest, des \u00e9tudiants et des enseignants des pays voisins y participent \u00e9galement, ce qui nous
