L&rsquo;optom\u00e9trie p\u00e9diatrique n&rsquo;est pas la m\u00e9decine des adultes appliqu\u00e9e aux enfants : elle requiert des comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cifiques pour traiter une \u00e9tape de la vie marqu\u00e9e par la croissance, le syst\u00e8me visuel se d\u00e9veloppant durant les 8 \u00e0 9 premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de vie. Les d\u00e9ficiences visuelles de l&rsquo;enfant ont un impact sur les r\u00e9sultats scolaires, les perspectives d&rsquo;avenir, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re et g\u00e9n\u00e9rale&#8230; Non corrig\u00e9es \u00e0 temps, elles peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9finitives.<\/p><p>Cette formation, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 la demande du Minist\u00e8re de la Sant\u00e9 du Mozambique, s&rsquo;adresse aux ophtalmologistes et optom\u00e9tristes de sant\u00e9 publique (h\u00f4pitaux, centres de sant\u00e9, etc.) sous forme d&rsquo;un cours intensif de 8 semaines (4 de th\u00e9orie et 4 de pratique) dispens\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;h\u00f4pital central de Maputo, la capitale du pays. <strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">L&rsquo;aspect pratique du cours est essentiel pour permettre aux stagiaires d&rsquo;\u00eatre rapidement op\u00e9rationnels. <\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><br p\u00e9riodiques en cas de prescription de corrections optiques (lunettes, patchs, etc.).<\/li><li>D\u00e9tecter et orienter vers le sp\u00e9cialiste appropri\u00e9 les pathologies qui le requi\u00e8rent.<\/li><li>Savoir organiser un d\u00e9pistage des troubles de la vue et son \u00e9valuation post\u00e9rieure (par exemple, dans les \u00e9coles ou les centres de
