Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette formation, je pourrai non seulement am\u00e9liorer la vie de ma propre famille en exer\u00e7ant une nouvelle profession, mais j’esp\u00e8re aussi redonner \u00e0 mes patients l’apparence qu’ils avaient avant de perdre leurs yeux et donc leur estime de soi. Pourquoi une formation en proth\u00e8se oculaire ?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Tout simplement car cette discipline est compl\u00e9mentaire \u00e0 la formation en oculoplastie pour permettre une prise en charge globale des patients : en Afrique subsaharienne, les personnes atteintes de tumeurs orbitaires arrivent souvent en consultation \u00e0 un stade si avanc\u00e9 que l’ablation de l’\u0153il est n\u00e9cessaire pour leur sauver la vie. Apr\u00e8s l’op\u00e9ration, le pr\u00e9judice esth\u00e9tique est tel que seule une proth\u00e8se identique \u00e0 l’\u0153il enlev\u00e9 permet \u00e0 ces personnes de retrouver une certaine normalit\u00e9.\u00a0<\/p>

Il n’existe pas de dipl\u00f4me en proth\u00e8se oculaire \u00e0 proprement parler, car c’est un m\u00e9tier totalement artisanal qui se transmet de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.
